Winter

Here comes the winter,

So cold, but always there,

Always waiting for its time to come.

For winter is coming.

Blizzards will rain,

Snowflakes will fall,

Through it all the cold it still there.

For winter is coming.

Right after fall,

It awaits its call,

Standing, waiting for the right time.

For winter is coming.

Lock all your doors,

Start up the fires,

Put on your heavy coats.

For winter is coming.

See the snow starting to fall,

Say goodbye to fall,

It is time for leaves to fly,

And the winds to cry.

Winter is coming.

I see winter,

I see it clear,

Winter is here.
